Here is the actual prayer lists focusing on the Meth users, dealers, and cooks. Why are we praying so extensively about them? They are a lost and hurting people, and they need Jesus.
METH PRAYER LIST
Prayer List A.
1. Pray for the addicts
To be unable to mock, disrespect or defy God.
Pray that the addicts can't harass those around them or escape the police and sheriff officers.
2. For the addicts families to take action by putting Meth addicts into treatment facilities or prison, so they can get help. Pray that the families stop enabling the addicted members. Pray for the children of the addicted people, that they have a good support system and that their parents don't alienate them. Pray that addicts will want to seek help. Also, that there be no estrangement between addicts and their families so that if the families intervene, help will be best received. Pray that if there is estrangement, other resources for help and support can be in place.
3. That addicts not have access to equipment needed to make Meth, or even the supplies that go into making Meth.
4. That store clerks be watchful and suspicious of any strange buying habits of those making Meth.
5. Pray that none of the recipes, old or new, work.
6. That God exposes it when addicts steal, or commit other crimes. Pray that there will be no escape from law enforcement.
7. That addicts who've become psychotic due to Meth, be apprehended and put where they will get optimal help.
8. That there would be a true recovery experience and that the addicts can move forward into healthier and more productive lives.
9. That God would orchestrate the breakdown of the Meth labs.
10. That vehicle access would be made impossible and that vehicles caught in Meth production or delivery would be impounded.
11. Help us to know how to best pray for the addicted people and their loved ones.
12. That Meth addicts learn to work through past problems that have made them turn to drugs. Also, pray that when they do get high, there will be no escape from their problems.
13. That all drug activity is exposed to the public and law enforcement so there can be no complacency.
14. Pray that the addicts come to a true saving knowledge of Jesus and that they learn to see themselves in God's eyes as worthwhile people.
15. Pray for them to have hearts of good fertile soil that will be productive, for the Lord, up to 100 fold.
16. Pray that bold, strong, courageous, uncompromising, Christians will be sent to those addicted to Meth.
17. Pray that Treatment options and rehab facilities will always be open and available. Pray that the funding required is also consistently available.
18. Pray that the addicts hearts will be changed for the positive, and that their rebellious, defiant nature will be removed.
19. Pray that the addicts suffer appropriate consequences for their actions. Pray also that they can no longer con the judges in to releasing them.
20. Fill all the vehicles, houses, apartments, buildings, streets, and parking areas involved in the Meth business with God's holy presence and warring, protecting, and ministering angels.
21. Pray that it will be impossible to make Meth that the labs will no longer prosper in the
22. Pray that anyone involved in Meth will no longer be able to destroy evidence before law-enforcement can cease it.
METH PRAYER LIST
Prayer List B.
Police and Sheriffs
Pray that the police and other law enforcement agencies will crack down on the Meth sale, production, and use. Pray that there be no complacency among the law enforcement officers. Pray that any officers, who are corrupt, will be removed from service, and replaced with Godly men and women. Pray that all officers come to a true saving knowledge of Jesus.
City and
Pray that City and county officials react quickly and report it when they see or know about Meth activity. Pray also that there be no city or county workers who are corrupt. Pray that they would be replaced by Godly men and women. Pray that there be no complacency among city and county workers. Pray that all city and county workers come to a true saving knowledge of Jesus.
Emergency Workers
Pray that emergency crews spot Meth labs quickly and report them. Pray that there be no complacency among ambulance, paramedics and fire crews. Pray that any corrupt
Judicial
Pray that anyone arrested for Meth activity is held until trial. Pray that Judges rule strictly and justly in all drug cases. Pray that there would be permanent funding to uphold judgments made. Pray that judges come to a true saving knowledge of Jesus. Pray that there be no complacency among the judicial officers and workers. Pray that all corrupted judges would be removed from service and replaced with Godly men and women.
Governor and His Staff
Pray that the governor pass strict laws cracking down on Meth activity. Pray that there be no complacency with the governor or his staff concerning this issue. Pray for the governor to be saved as well as his staff. Pray that any corrupt governor or staff worker be removed from office and replaced by God fearing people.
State and Federal Legislators
Pray that strict laws are made to prevent Meth production. Also, that there be a ban on the production and importation of ephedrine. Pray that there be no complacency among state or federal legislators. Pray that all legislators come to a true saving knowledge of Jesus. Pray that all funding required for treatment, police, prisons, and other agencies be available and delivered. Pray that any corrupt officials be removed from their positions and replaced with workers who love God.
Lobbyists
Pray that people become aware of the Meth problem and start to lobby for reform. Help people to assemble together and pray for the war against drugs. Pray that widespread education becomes available and on demand. Pray that people keep pressing congress for reforms.
METH PRAYER LIST
Prayer List C.
1. Pray for neighbors to notice any kind of Meth activity and take action.
2. Pray that neighbors won't ignore the drug problem. Pray there is no complacency.
3. Pray for neighborhoods to be safe friendly places.
4. Bind the stronghold of Meth from every community in our area.
5. Fill our communities with God's holy presence and angels.
6. Pray for the people in our communities to have their hearts softened and come to a true saving knowledge of Jesus.
7. Pray that people in the communities will take action to prevent production from reoccurring in their communities.
8. Pray for neighbors to look out for and protect each other, especially their disabled and elderly populations.
9. Pray for neighbors to be unified against drug activity.
10. Pray that there be no contamination from any form of drug activity in our houses and apartments. Pray also, that there are no physical ill effects for those living around Meth activity.
METH PRAYER LIST
Prayer List D.
1. Pray for no oppression, affliction, victimization, violence, vengeance, hatred, murder, maliciousness, harassment, torment, abuse, retaliation, intrusion, destruction, and vandalism from Meth addicts.
2. Prayer for healing of all Meth and drug related ailments.
3. Pray that Meth production will not rob anyone of refreshing sleep or energy.
4. Pray that there is safety and protection for the non-addicted people in our communities.
5. Protect us from the fear of murder, abduction, or injury from the Meth addicts.
6. All attempts or plans to intrude, kill, abduct, rob, injure or harass us be thwarted.
7. Help us not to hear their Meth making activities or smell their fumes anywhere.
8. You have said in your word that, "no weapon formed against us shall prosper." Please keep the weapons of Meth, fear, doubt, intimidation, emotional harm, injury, control, violence, vengeance, etc from prospering in our lives?
9. Help us not to feel powerless because of the Meth addicts and the Meth epidemic. Reveal to those in our community that something can be done about this problem.
10. Help there to be no long term effects do to Meth or drug exposure. Pray to know the truth about what kind of long term effects can happen to us humans, our pets, and the environment, as a result of Meth cooking and waste dumping.
11. Protect animals from all forms of toxins caused by Meth production.
Prayer:
Lord, I thank you that you have already taken care of this situation, but you said to ask, seek and knock and all these things shall be added unto you. Well we are praying asking you for help today. All across this land, we need your help with this problem of addiction. For the addicts' families, I claim psalm 91. I claim this psalm for the neighbors around the Meth cooks' areas. I plead the shed blood of Jesus Christ over the believers and between the non-addicted neighbors and those using Meth or other drugs right now. I pray for an end to be put to this national epidemic. I pray that the Meth cooks, dealers, and users will no longer be able to hold so much power. I pray that they will no longer be able to terrorize families, friends, and non-addicted neighbors anymore. "No weapon formed against us shall prosper." That's what I pray over the neighbors and families of the addicted. Please let no weapon of Meth or drugs formed against them prosper.
Lord, I pray that also for the Meth cooks and users and dealers as well. I pray you will free them from their bondage of addiction? I pray that you put them in places where they can hear you and you alone. Please shut the mouth of the Meth monster. Lord, you shut the mouth of the lion for Daniel when he was thrown into the lions' pit. Now, I ask you to shut the mouth of this Meth monster that is worse that 20 fierce lions.
Lord, you have made us more than conquerors, and now, by this prayer, I pray we can conquer this problem on both sides of the fence. I pray we can have victory for the Meth addicts as they get free from their harsh addiction. Also, I pray for victory for those who are around the cooking with medical problems—either prior to the constant fumes or after the Meth lab first came to that neighborhood.
